How 11.11.11 actually went through.

I hope I can make this story short kase gusto ko mag-basa at mag-review ng aking mga aralin for this Semester. Okay, I'll try.

So to start, everyone was annoyed after the Banchetto management cancelled their event of flying lanterns at the last minute. ON THE DAY ITSELF? Lame di ba?! Kase, as in nag-advertise sila ng once in a life time event for 11.11.11 kung saan magpapalipad sabay-sabay ang mga tao ng flying lanterns at around 11pm.

Sana nag-ocular survey muna sila before deciding to root through the event, kase dinahilan nila yung security and that other buildings within the vicinity ay pwedeng maapektuhan nung mga mahuhulog na lanterns after ng event. Worst, baka mapunta sa kalye at maging cause ng traffic yung mga upos na lanterns.

Anyway, we still decided to push through our plan, at mag-banchetto na lang and then metrowalk, at least naman di masayang yung effort namin na mag-plano for the event. Muntik pa kameng mabasa sa ulan, kase cheapipays, nag-jeep lang. Buti na lang GOD is good! Tumigil yung ulan prior kame bumaba ng jeep!! I guess that time na tumigil yung ulan, dun na nagstart yung GOOD VIBES for the evening.

Tapos gutom na gutom na lahat, nasa Megamall pa lang kame, kaya ayun nag-Shakeys na lang kame. Buti na lang din yun na lang ginawa namin. Kase sigurado, ang daming tao sa Banchetto!! Balita ko pa nag-aabangan ng tables yung mga kakaen! Hassle ah!

Si Jheng naman, yung bestfriend ko na napasama sa lakad ng college barkada ko, eh pinagpipilitan the whole time na niloloko lang daw namin siya na hindi na tuloy yung event. As in, niloloko lang daw namin siya, kase dala naman namin yung flying lanterns namin!

Then we headed to Mercanti dun sa Metrowalk! And to our happy shock (shock kase panandalian bumaba yung blood pressure namin sa nakita namin), eh may mga pasaway na nagpapalipad ng mga flying lanterns!!! 

BUTI na lang talaga, GOD is sooooo soooo sooo GOOD! Na dinala pa rin namin yung lanterns namin kahit alam namin na hindi na tuloy!! Hindi rin naman namin alam bakit dinala namin, di ba? Ang galing talaga! Then yung HOPE din ni Jheng na matutuloy yung pagpapalipad kahit sure na sure na cancelled na, ayun siguro that helped, too.

I have no pictures to show everyone as of now (kase yung taga picture namin baka next year pa maisipang mag-upload), but everything totally rocked! We are suddenly at our happy place!! 

We looked for a spot dun sa may car park at dun kame nag-start na i-light mga lanterns namin. We are grinning throughout the time na nag-sisindi ng lanterns! We made wishes, awesome wishes at dinikit sa lanterns!! We had 4 lanterns lang, kahit walo kame, but that was enough to satisfy the purpose of the evening. Super naging sulit ang gabi at lahat ng mischief nung hapon na yun suddenly faded away. :) :) :)

We are truly happy! Yung moment na nagpapalipad kame ng lanterns, moment na hindi mabibili ng pera! Tsaka yung gabi na yun, it was truly a blessed night talaga! I felt it. Nandun siya! He made everything so possible! :)

Afterwards, nag-metrowalk kame and had one tower of Tanduay Ice, na nakakaantok. I was also happy to have Jheng with my college friends, Ace, Kath, Cindy, Lolay and Alvin. Kasama pa din namin yung iba naming friends si Nikki and DM sa Metrowalk. Gusto ko lang i-acknowledge tong mga taong to' kase hindi pa rin nag-fafade yung pagiging awesome nila. Naging masaya si Jheng to meet new friends, super friendly kase ng mga to'. At kaya nga love na love din ni Mayk tong mga taong toh, kase super dali pakisamahan at maka-close. Thank you guys!!

I guess what I had learned from this experience is that we should always MAKE the most of our life's event. Katulad nito, negative at palpak na, but attitude lang ang katapat to turn the event sooo sooo positive!!
